London BridgeFalling Down, Falling Down…London Bridge is Falling Down, My Fair Lady! :-) After a late night (trying to get caught up on the blog), we woke up and headed out just in time to catch the free breakfast at the Best Western. There was the necessary stop for Starbucks (of course) where we felt a little strange getting hot coffee when it was 93 degrees out (it was only 10am!!!). One last stop to stroll across the London Bridge and to check out a souvenir shop (we needed to find another shot glass for Brad’s collection) and we were on our way for Williams, Arizona. The trip to Williams wasn’t that long, about two and a half hours, but would have been shorter had we not encountered an accident that looked like a big rig squeezed a van into the cement guard rail. Not pretty, but happy it wasn’t us! When we got to the hotel, we had a surprise waiting for us – we were supposed to check in last night, not tonight. Somehow we got lucky and something opened up to where we were able to just move the entire reservation back one day (WHEW!!!). We’ve both spent more than a few minutes trying to figure out how the dates got mixed up and then finally gave up – it all worked out and it was a beautiful day, it was time to head out and explore Williams. It has a very cute downtown with fun stores for souvenirs and Indian jewelry. After a stroll around the town and a couple drinks, we turned in early knowing that tomorrow is going to be a busy day…
