Below is our tentative itinerary for our cross country trip: ===================================== 5.20 – Leaving San Ramon & will stay in Pebble Beach 5.21 – Leave Pebble Beach early, take a tour of Hearst Castle in San Simeon at 12:20 and land in Thousand Oaks for a two night stay 5.22 – Spend the day at Disneyland with Mark, Trisha, Martha, and Becca…stay in Thousand Oaks again. 5.23 – Leave Thousand Oaks and head to San Diego to stay with Mike and Michelle Low . We’ll stop in Perris to have a picnic with Grandpa Miller 5.24 – Leave San Diego for Lake Havasu City, through Joshua Tree National Park, where we’ll check out London Bridge 5.25 – Stay in Williams, AZ where we’ll be taking a train to the Grand Canyon on the 26th…back to Williams for the night. 5.27 – Leave Williams for Mesa (outside Phoenix) to see Gavin. 5.28 – Leave Phoenix for Carlsbad Caverns in NM – this is our longest stretch across country – 11 hours 5.29 – Carlsbad Caverns tour from 10-11:45, we’ll take off for San Antonio (Alamo) and have dinner on the Riverwalk. 5.30 – After visiting the Alamo and having breakfast on the Riverwalk, we’ll take off for Dallas (Frisco) to see Jeff. 5.31 – Leave Dallas and stay the night in Tulsa, OK 6.1 – Leave Tulsa for Jefferson City for a late lunch with Mr. Bud Wheeler (Nancy’s Dad) and then onto St. Louis to check out the Arch 6.2 – Head for Nashville…(We’re in the home stretch!) 6.3 – Leave Nashville and land in Atlanta where we spend 1-2 days with Brenda/Mom & Michael 6.4 or 6.5 – We finally land in Charlotte where we’ll temporarily shack up with Ryan & Nancy. Look for short term housing and new jobs! The Map
